This is a specialty hose designed especially for use on fire suppression systems. Its bright red cover makes it easily identifiable as a fire suppression hose and distinguishable from standard "black covered" hydraulic hoses. It is ideal for use on mining vehicles which are commonly equipped with fire suppression systems to protect operators and reduce extensive downtime if a fire occurs. Its cover is resistant to general abrasion, oil and weathering, meeting MSHA flame resistance specifications.

Construction: Tube: Black synthetic rubber. Cover: Red oil, abrasion, and weather resistant synthetic rubber. Reinforcement: One high tensile steel wire braid.
