NL3453 is an Aircraft ground refuelling hose suitable for the transfer of kerosene and other aircraft fuels, used in cold temperature applications where the standard hose is not suitable due to severe cold temperatures. The thick cover is resistant to ozone, oils, gouging, abrasion, and weathering. Coupled aviation hoses must be fully certified to API standards and timelines, and all aviation hoses are recommended to be replaced and disposed of at a maximum of 10 years after the manufacturing date. Meets EI1529/C and ISO1825:2017.

Construction: Tube: Smooth, black, nitrile blend rubber. Cover: Oil and weather-resistant black neoprene rubber. Reinforcement: Textile braided synthetic.

Typical Fittings: N95/N96 permanent brass male scovills, tested and certified to EI 1529 standards for Aviation Fuelling. *SPECIAL NOTE* - Special insurance is required to cover liability arising from the certification of aviation fuel hoses. If not using for aviation fuelling, other critical application fittings like crimped-on Lockable Camlocks or permanent Swage fittings can be used.

Temperature Range: -40°C (-40°F) to +100°C (212°F)No rubber cold embrittlement at -48°C.
