This is a rugged hose ideally suited for aggressive hydro-vac operations containing abrasive materials and offers a durable alternative to our NL2100/NL8110/NL8155 Material Transfer hoses. The corrugated cover provides good flexibility and durability, while the tube provides outstanding abrasion and tear resistance when handling even the coarsest of materials in Hydro Excavation - including mud, sand and rock. We offer NL8160 as the most popular/standard with a 1/4" thick tube, but we can also supply a less durable NL8159 3/16" Tube for additional cost savings and lighter weight, however the thinner tube could result in more costly repairs, downtime, etc. Our NL8163 3/8" tube provides added wear resistance for more demanding applications.
