Industrial Butterfly /Wafer Valves - 330
Butterfly valves are available in several body materials, disc materials, and rubber seal materials - depending on the application. Their narrow profiles allow installation in existing piping systems without dislocation, and can be operated with a lever, gear, or actuator. They can be found across a range of industrial processing facilities, water treatment, wastewater, dry bulk conveying, paper mills, light slurry handling, food and beverage, HVAC, transportation, and others. The "butterfly" is a metal disc mounted on a rod, opening or closing on quarter turn. Their handles incorporate a notch plate which allows you to position the disc incrementally in order to throttle the flow (usually about 8-10 positions).
Wafer & Lug-style butterfly valves are designed to be used with ANSI Class 125/150 flanges pipe flanges. Wafer style fits between the flanges and are held in place by the force of the mating flanges, while Lug style are bolted directly to the mating flange(s). Grooved end & Tri-clamp butterfly valves are also available.
