NL5500 is a very smooth, elastic tubing that is commonly seen in sporting goods stores for fishing tackle or sling shots and as a tourniquet band in the medical industry. It is highly resilient and will maintain its memory after repeated bending, stretching, or pulsating forces. It is made from non-toxic ingredients conforming to FDA standards and will withstand sterilization with steam, gamma radiation, or ethylene oxide. Standard lengths come in retail dispensing boxes.

Construction: Smooth, highly elastic amber coloured latex tubing (other colours available on special request from factory).

Typical Fittings: Typically not used with fittings, designed as a band, tourniquet, or in sports related applications.

Temperature Range: -53°C (-65°F) to +82°C (180°F)

Detail Comments: Due to manufacturing methods and the typical applications this tubing is used for, there are random lengths in each box which range from approximately 15ft to 60ft.
