NL2525 is a "textile reinforced" FDA steam hose (max temperature 170°C/338°F) designed specifically for the delivery of super heated potable water mixed with detergents. This hose is ideal for washdown and sterilization of equipment in the food industry and manufacturing plants. It's food safe white EPDM tube and wrapped blue EPDM cover is resistant to heat, ozone and weathering. EPDM rubber is not designed for oily applications (meat or fish plants). Meets FDA Title 21, 177.2600 (Tube only).

Construction: Tube: White EPDM rubber conforms to FDA. Cover: Blue EPDM rubber (wrapped finish; pin pricked to prevent blistering). Reinforcement: Multiple textile plies. 10:1 safety factor.

Typical Fittings: Ground joints, interlocking bolt clamps. Interlocking bolt clamps MUST be checked and re-tightened before each use. Crimptech stems and interlocking ferrules can be used for hot water applications and not steam. For hot water applications long shank/long barb fittings are required. If using cleaning chemicals or sanitizers, always confirm if they are compatible with the EPDM rubber compounds of this hose.
