NL5021 is designed for gravity flow or pressure discharge of NON-OILY and non-abrasive fluids, such as wine, beer, spirits, milk, potable water, and many juices (NOT recommended for certain liquors, refer to chemical charts). Although it does not contain an integral helix to prevent collapsing, its thick wall provides resistance to kinking and light vacuum. Its EPDM has excellent resistance to open end steam sterilization as well as high temperature, modern cleaning and sterilization solutions (CIP, Clean-In-Place), such as sodium hydroxide, hydrogen peroxide, and peroxyacetic acid (always refer to chemical charts for proper hose tube/cover compatibility). Drinkline tube is formed on a smooth chrome mandrel, designed to not impart taste or transfer odour. It has a traditional wrapped, slightly textured rubber cover.

Construction: Tube: White EPDM. Cover: Wrapped, smooth, red EPDM. Reinforcement: Spiral plied synthetic fabric 4 plies on 3/4" to 1-1/2" sizes, 6 plies on 2" and up.

Typical Fittings: Stainless Sanitary Inserts, N5013 Interlocking Sanitary Crimp w/N5013F Ferrule, Stainless Camlocks (exchange food grade gasket); for plain/non-interlock Insert Fittings, we recommend Stainless Band/Bolt Clamps (NOT recommended with plain, non-interlocking WC-SS crimp sleeves due to temperature rubber flow & coupling integrity). Excessive heat in long cycles can compromise coupling integrity on thick, soft durometer hoses.
