NL5019/NL5014 Vintner EPDM provides broader cleaning chemical and temperature resilience, ozone resistance, and increased strength and hardness to facilitate better coupling retention at elevated temperatures. It will handle in-plant and/or tank truck transfer of wine, beer, potable water, certain spirits or juices, and other non-oily liquid foodstuffs (refer to EPDM chemical resistance charts). The monofilament helix is rust proof and is a crush-resistant alternative to traditional soft-wall or steel wire reinforced hoses. Its high-quality microbe-resistant tube is formed on a smooth chrome mandrel, designed to not impart taste or transfer odour for years of service. It is manufactured with FDA compliant compounds and meets USDA, and 3-A sanitary standard 18-03. We offer Vintner EPDM in a robust 250psi version, as well as lighter wall 150psi version.

Typical Fittings: Stainless Sanitary Inserts, N5013 Interlocking Sanitary Crimp w/N5013F Ferrule, Stainless Camlocks (exchange food grade gasket); for plain/non-interlock Insert Fittings, we recommend Stainless Band/Bolt Clamps (NOT recommended with plain, non-interlocking WC-SS crimp sleeves due to temperature rubber flow & coupling integrity). Excessive heat in long cycles can compromise coupling integrity on thick, soft durometer hoses.
