This assembly uses the high grade NL5161 clear PVC transfer hose with N5011-SS tri-clamp hose ends. The hose is a completely clear (has a clear helix) food transfer hose that provides maximum visual confirmation of the material being conveyed. It has a smooth wall to prevent hang-ups or material build up and the smooth exterior permits ease of clamping and can be cleaned more easily than corrugated hoses. It can be used for the suction or discharge of liquid or dry dairy products, fish, syrup, juice, wine, pellets, powder, non-abrasive granular materials, or various other food processing applications. This hose meets FDA, USDA, and 3A Sanitary Standards.

Detail Comments: When using camlocks for food applications the standard black nitrile gasket must be replaced with white food grade material.
