NL6170 is a lightweight, flexible PVC ducting hose that has a textile braiding for extra strength. This braided textile permits greater working pressures, prevents elongation under pressure or heat, and provides excellent resistance to flex-fatigue. It is commonly used as a wet or dry material chute on moving parts on machinery. It is also used in commercial or industrial vacuum cleaners (all sizes rated to 29"/hg of vacuum) and as a bilge hose on boats. The NL6170 is light grey in colour and the NL6171 is blue (available on special request). We also offer thread-on vacuum cuffs for the 1-1/2" and 2" sizes.

Construction: Tube: Smooth, clear PVC. Cover: Corrugated, PVC (NL6170 is grey and NL6171 is blue). Reinforcement: Rigid wire helix with a bonded high strength textile braid. Helix spiral direction varies by brand.

Typical Fittings: N6170 Cuffs, N62/N64 gear clamps, T7-200X180 duct tape.

Temperature Range: -29°C (-20°F) to +65°C (149°F)

Detail Comments: All ducting is measured when fully extended.
