Grade R single line (NL1755/1758 Grade T also available) is used in welding and cutting operations where separate lines are preferable. Its ribbed cover reduces dragging friction and provides extra abrasion resistance. For argon applications (inert gas) where a green or red hose is not preferred, refer to other hoses listed in the Multiple Purpose Section. For acetylene, users are alerted against pressures above 7-15 psi as the gas becomes unstable.

Construction: Tube: Black EPDM rubber. Cover: EPDM rubber (red for acetylene and green for oxygen, typically smaller sizes ribbed, larger sizes smooth cover). Reinforcement: Two textile spirals for 3/16" to 3/8" sizes, four spirals for 1/2" size.

Typical Fittings: N450 Brass barbs with N450 Oxygen and N451 Acetylene brass nuts, FBL & FBO brass ferrules.

Temperature Range: -40°C (-40°F) to +93.3°C (200°F)
