NL1770 is a CGA 8.1 approved hose for hydrocarbons, such as liquid or gaseous propane, butane, or a combination of these gases. It can be used for natural gas in its 'gaseous' state - it is NOT designed for 'liquid' natural gas (refer to our NL4395 Cryogenic). NL1770 is commonly used on barbecues, trailers, camping equipment, and space heaters. Type 1 propane hose must be used in a well ventilated area and is NOT designed for use underground service, or use on automobiles, forklifts, or mobile equipment (must use Type III for all mobile equipment). All coupled assemblies are ULC labeled and are to be installed by a licensed gas fitter only.

Construction: Tube: Nitrile rubber. Cover: Smooth, black, pin-pricked synthetic rubber. Reinforcement: High-tensile braided yarn.

Temperature Range: -51°C (-60°F) to +60.0°C (140°F)

Detail Comments: For sizes up to 1", -51°C (-60°F) to +60°C (140°F). For sizes 1-1/4" & 1-1/2", -40°C (-40°F) to +82°C (180°F).
