Cable Whip Hose Chokers are used on air, water, steam, sandblast or other pressure applications to help prevent accidents or injury resulting from a hose "whipping" in the even of a hose failure or coupling blow-off. Whip chokers feature a nylon spool which allows the cable to tighten down on the hose during a failure. They are rated for 200 psi for air applications and 400 psi for fluid applications.
