Safety Bump Camlock Caps & Plugs are a durable alternative to traditional caps & plugs. Safety Bumps provide a comfort grip "pull" handle and a safety "bump" that extends beyond the camlock which prevents it from being damaged when dropped or dragged. The sleek design of the Safety Bump Cap eliminates spills caused by regular camlock arms opening during service. Commonly seen in the bulk petroleum loading and tank truck industry, Safety Bumps can be used across a variety of industries where accidental disconnection, external damage, or "drag" is a concern. A similar version is available in Aluminum (suffix AL). SPECIAL NOTE: In recent years there are lower cost, overseas knock-offs which are made of a lighter duty poly material that do not absorb impact or abuse as well (and may not be anti-static).
