These are heavy duty, zinc plated steel live swivels suitable for up to 3000 psi oil applications (not rated for gasoline, biofuels, chemicals, etc). They are also not recommended for water service due to the corrosive nature of the zinc plated steel, although they are available in stainless steel (NSBxxxx-xx-xxSS) for better resistance in corrosive environments, such as around salt water or chemicals. They are designed for aggressive service between -40°F to +200°F (standard Buna-N seal). We also offer higher pressure (3500-5000 psi) live swivels in certain configurations on special request (NSBxxxx-xx-xx)."Live Swivels" are not designed for very high RPM/frequency applications; in such a case a mechanical "rotary joint" should be used.
