The N10WR is a stainless steel combination nipple with a conical hose barb specifically designed to hold onto lay flat hose when subjected to elongational stress. These fittings are commonly used with NL2450 Wellriser hose which is used to suspend and lower submersible pumps hundreds of feet down into wells to pump water to the surface. Each fitting comes with the 2 piece clamp used to attach to the hose. Either a fuse plug (WR-FUSE-xxx) or a standard plug (N265-***SS) will be supplied separately, but required to operate. If the hose needs to be retracted (IE if the pump needs serviced) a torpedo (WR-TORPEDO-xxx) is dropped into the top end of the hose in order to break the fuse plug and allow the water inside the hose to drain back into the well reducing the weight of the assembly.
