These valves have a compact barstock construction for high integrity. They are used in industrial applications where a brass valve is not suitable. They have blow-out proof stems and are rated for 1000 psi in all sizes for water, oil, or gas (at ambient temperatures). The body and ball are made of 316 stainless steel and either poly or 304 stainless handle which is designed to control fluid in the fully open or fully closed position (not designed to throttle the flow). The temperature range, seat and packing materials vary. They are typically not used in hydraulic applications due to surging, temperature, and pressure requirements (refer to our N10704 heavier pattern hydraulic ball valves).
