These valve assemblies are designed for winterization of irrigation/RV/boat water systems. Left over water in the lines of an irrigation system can freeze in the cold weather causing pipes to crack due to ice buildup. To prevent this, contractors often blow high pressure air through the system to force all of the water out. Supplied with a brass MGHT adapter. Available with 12 inch extension hose for installation in tight spaces.
