Bronze / Brass Camlocks - 260
We carry several different brands of brass and bronze camlocks. Our standard N series brass are generic, but we also offer a PT Coupling brand (prefix P) as well as a premium bronze Dixon Bayco Series (prefix D). Brass, or bronze, are typically used for water or wastes in certain corrosive environments such as around marine salt water, or where the couplings must be non-sparking, such as in marine fuelling applications (we recommend using premium brands for critical applications). All types of camlocks are NOT for use with compressed air or gases. The rated working pressures of our bronze/brass camlocks at ambient temperatures are: 1/2" to 4" sizes = 150psi, and 5"-6" = 75psi. As a guide only, brass may be suitable for -101°C (-150°F) to +232°C (+450°F). Always confirm if gasket material is compatible with fluid.
