This pump unit operates using a Makita battery (if you use another brand of tools, adapters are available), simply turn the unit on and press the up arrow either on the unit or on the remote switch. The pump will pressurize and when the crimper light comes on stop pressing and press the down arrow to release the pressure and the crimper will retract.
