Spring loaded/Constant Torque T-bolt clamps are designed to compensate for thermal expansion/contraction of hose or fitting connections. They are commonly used on silicone hose or on charge air cooling systems. Exceeding torque ratings will bend bolt and warp housing; do not assemble with an air tool. It is good practice to check for tightness at regular intervals while in service. Our N68SL- are the standard, cost effective model and we also offer the N75CT- which is a more robust, higher torque clamp for heavy duty applications (refer to Supra Clamp technical info).
