Our Type 201 strapping has been the industry standard for many years and is commonly used for field assembly of various industrial hoses as well as for strapping signs to poles by many municipalities and utility companies (band & buckle systems are NOT typically designed for attaching hose ends to very thin wall hoses like layflat or small ID hoses due to potential leak paths around the buckle area). Unlike more economical manufacturer's products, our "Band-It" Type 201 strap has a smooth, rounded edge finish and a very high tensile strength to provide maximum clamping strength (more economical brands will break and become brittle prematurely); can be double looped for even more strength.
