WE DO NOT RECOMMEND the use of rubber, hybrid polymer, thermoplastic, or PVC hoses in permanent plumbing applications (such as appliance connections, radiant heating, heat pumps, fan coil units, chillers, coolers, etc) or any applications where systems are not regularly maintained or inspected. Unlike hard piping systems or stainless steel braided hoses, hoses manufactured with polymers, elastomers, and textiles will age over time and eventually fail.

The combination of continual pressures, temperatures, and mechanical forces will also contribute towards aging and coupling integrity. It is important to note that facilities and systems must be designed to properly contain fluids or product loss during a failure in order to mitigate damage to property, equipment, or the environment.
