Ny-Glass and Yellow Nylon Camlocks - 262
Yellow Ny-Glass camlocks are made of strong nylon and glass fibers. They are extremely lightweight couplings that are resistant to various chemicals, solvents, weathering, and salt water. Ny-glass camlocks are not recommended for foodstuffs due to their "fiberglass" additives; use our "WP" white polypropylene or stainless steel camlocks for foodstuffs. Ny-glass camlocks are highly resistant to cross threading, impact, warpage, and crushing; they are also electrically inert - no sparks or galvanic action. All sizes have stainless arms and pins. Ny-glass camlocks are becoming increasingly popular and offer many advantages over polypropylene and traditional aluminum, bronze, or stainless steel fittings. Maximum temperature is +80°C (+175°F). All types of camlocks are NOT for use with compressed air or gases. The rated working pressures at ambient temperatures are: 3/4-1" sizes are 175psi, 1-1/2-2" are 150 psi, 3" is 125psi, and 4" is 75psi. As a guide only, ny-glass may be suitable for -29°C (-20°F) to +94°C (+200°F). Always confirm if gasket material is compatible with fluid.
