These are typically used with small diameter hose for water, shop air (1/2" or smaller), fuel, chemicals, or other fluids at pressures up to 150psi. For higher pressures/larger sizes of air hose, please refer to N176 Hex hose nipples or other air fittings. The soft brass body and short hose barbs do not permit high operating temperatures or working pressures. Stainless steel, white nylon, and black polypropylene are available in some configurations.
